Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks which categories of cookies the site may use: accept all, reject everything that is not strictly necessary, or choose by category. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page.
Categories
Strictly necessary. One cookie, named agc.sid, keeps you signed in and holds a token that protects forms against cross-site misuse. It is set for every visitor so that forms work, expires after 30 days, and contains no tracking identifier that follows you to other sites. It cannot be turned off because the site does not work without it.
Functional. Remember choices and settings in your browser, such as a tool you started or a filter you applied. The free tools keep your answers in your browser's local storage so you can come back to them; nothing in it is sent to us unless you choose to save or email a result. "Start over" on any tool clears that tool's data; clearing site data in your browser clears all of it.
Analytics. Would help us understand which pages and tools are used. No analytics are set today. If they are added, they run only for visitors who allow this category, and this page will name the tool.
Marketing. Would be used to measure and personalize communications. Not used today. If it is ever added, it runs only for visitors who allow this category.
What we do not use
Advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or fingerprinting. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when the font files are requested; if you prefer, your browser can block that and the site will fall back to system fonts.
Changing or withdrawing
Open "Cookie settings" in the footer to change categories, or block and delete cookies in your browser at any time; you will be signed out and forms will need a reload. Deleting the site's data in your browser also removes your stored choice, so the banner appears again.
